Exhibition Development Seminar: Exhibit Design
The Exhibit Design Team has tackled obstacles that involve more than what is often associated with “exhibit design.” Upon obtaining city and historic preservation regulations, our team created digital maps that identified potential art placement sites. The works were then distributed throughout the parks, in order to create visual cohesion. We decided on the elements (for example: banners, publication containers) that help to transform the parks into exhibition spaces and allow the exhibit to function efficiently. Most importantly, we were responsible for seeking the necessary approvals from multiple city agencies, neighborhood organizations and historic preservation committees.
