Exhibition Development Seminar: Curatorial
For this exhibition the curatorial team utilized an unusual method of working directly with each artist. Acting as a liaison between the artists and the other Exhibition Development Seminar's teams we were able to create and maintain a cohesive vision. The duty of a curator is to provide a conceptual framework to support an exhibition. Through research we encouraged dialogue—a dialogue necessary for us to produce a body of literature aimed at informing a varied audience about our unconventional exhibition. With help from the Walters and mentors both within and outside of MICA, we have been able tackle this ambitious role while supporting this already ambitious exhibition.
