Katherine Nammacher
“Maps hold my potential future: places I could experience as well as places I will never go.”
Katherine B. Nammacher is a sophomore printmaking major from White Plains, New York. Her artwork is primarily figurative, but also expands into the tactile nature of abstractexpressionist drawing. Her serious dedication to the arts and culture has been reinforced by participation in MICA’s CoffeeHouse, an internship with Solo Impressions in Chelsea, and her recent trip to Turkey. Katherine is the recipient of an academic honors scholarship, a MICA Recognitions Scholarship, and is on the Dean’s list. In the future, Katherine plans to continue to explore her studio work and many other creative, personal, and professional outlets.
