Explore our facilities, view exhibitions of work by students and nationally renowned artists, learn more about our programs of study and offerings, and interact with emerging artists and renowned art professionals. We look forward to meeting and talking with you.

Check-in for registered guests 

9:00 a.m : High school seniors and transfer students
10:00 a.m.: High school juniors, sophomores and freshman


9:30 a.m-12:00 p.m. :  Student-Guided Tour

Student-guided tours of the campus will depart throughout the morning beginning at 9:30 a.m.

12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m

Lunch will be served in the Meyerhoff House Dining Room.  Purchase lunch tickets during morning registration for registered guests.

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Educating the Artist, for seniors & transfers

A discussion of the special nature of MICA's educational program and how it uniquely prepares artists for the evolving world of art and design. The panel includes current students and is led by President Fred Lazarus and Provost Ray Allen.

 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Getting a Head Start, for juniors & sophomores

An overview of MICA's programs of study, student life and alumni success stories. The presentation also includes information on how to prepare for admission to MICA with special emphasis on the development of your portfolio.

1:45-4 p.m. Studio and Classroom Visits

Visit departments, view facilities, and meet informally with faculty and students. All studio and liberal arts departments will be open.

1:45-4 p.m. Student-Support Services Fair

Visit informally with professional staff who will answer questions and tell you more about the services we offer in Residence Life, Student Activities, Financial Aid, Career Development, Study Abroad & International Programs, the Learning Resource Center and Diversity & International Culture.

1:45-4 p.m. Parent-to-Parent Roundtable

MICA parents will be on hand to answer your questions and share their insights into the MICA experience.

3-4 p.m. Transfer Student Information Session

A presentation from the Coordinator of Transfer Admission, designed to answer your questions about transferring to MICA.
