Competitive Scholarships for Returning Undergraduate Students
Each spring, MICA offers students the chance to compete for more than $300,000 in merit-based scholarships. Eligible students must be currently enrolled, full-time, degree-seeking undergraduates and must register full-time for the 2010-2011 academic year. Read more for info on how to apply.

Sen. Verna Jones and MICA Present the Eighth Annual BSU Exhibition in Annapolis

The Senator Verna L. Jones Annual BSU Exhibition, inaugurated by state Sen. Verna L. Jones (Baltimore City), showcases the work of members of MICA's Black Student Union. Maryland legislators and residents view and purchase work made by emerging artists of color at an exhibition in Sen. Jones' office in Annapolis that lasts for the duration of the 2010 legislative session (through Monday, April 12).

Noted painter Philip Koch's vividly colored contemporary landscapes are on display at the Clymer Museum of Art in Ellensburg, Wash., through March 27. Koch, a drawing and foundation department professor at MICA, lived in Ellensburg and taught at Central Washington University before coming to MICA.

Come to the next SVA meeting and let your voice be heard! The SVA is MICA's student government, with two councils to focus on both the student life and academic concerns of the students. Each council meets monthly, and the topics vary from session to session depending upon student interest.
