The Community Arts Convening & Research Project

MICA announces the second annual Convening and Research Project to advance the field of community arts. Funded by the Nathan Cummings Foundation and sponsored by MICA, the gathering will be held at California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB), on April 19, 20, & 21, 2009.

  1. Convening Work Sessions and Structure

    Attendees are asked to review the following plan and proposed work session descriptions – and sign up ASAP! The sooner participants join a session, the greater their voice in its design and the more fruitful the convening experience.

    The following is the process for submitting final texts for this year’s Community Arts Convening. The Final Text due date has been extended for text authors to next Thursday, March 26th.
