Affiliated Programs Abroad

MICA has approved select overseas programs that are administered specifically for U.S. students. Generally, curriculum and instruction on these programs are U.S.-style. Pre-arranged Housing opportunities, extracurricular activities, and administrative support services are typically available on these programs.

Czech Republic

FAMU (Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts) in cooperation with CET

Subjects Video, Photo, or New Media, Czech language, possibility of other CET courses
Housing Student apartments through CET; housing is required
Structure of Program CET will provide an orientation, one week of intensive Czech upon arrival, a few hours of Czech a week during the semester and activities/field trips. Students will take studio classes with FAMU. Students can also take one academic class with CET.

Denmark

DIS: Danish Institute for Study Abroad (Copenhagen)

Housing Available through DIS. Housing options include host families, shared apartments, and single or shared dormitory rooms.
Scholarships Students may be considered for partial scholarships of up to $5,000 based on financial need.
Extra Application Items (1) $50 application fee (This fee will be credited to your DIS bill once you actually enroll.) (2) In order to be considered for a scholarship award, submit DIS's scholarship application to MICA's International Affairs office along with the rest of your study abroad application materials.

Burren College (Ballyvaughan)
