The InterLink program supports international students with their transition to MICA by linking them with a peer mentor. Mentors are bi-lingual, bi-cultural MICA students who can provide answers about MICA resources, life in Baltimore, and acclimating to a new culture.
InterLink mentors host a weekly InterLink Chat Hour for international students. During these chats, international students can meet mentors, ask questions, and find out about on-campus events. During the Spring 2014 semester InterLink Chat will be held every Friday from 12:00-1:00 in Bunting, room 208.
Each week the InterLink Mentors host three activities. For these activities, mentors lead groups of international students to various MICA events. International students have opportunities at their mentor-led events to get to know the MICA campus and its resources while making friends inside and outside of the international student community.
