International Student Orientation

International students must attend International Student Orientation. Please remember to bring your I-20, I-94 card, passport and visa with you to International Student Orientation!

International Student Orientation, Fall 2015

International Students are required to attend International Student Orientation in addition to either Freshman, Transfer or Graduate student orientation.

Undergraduate Students

Tuesday, August 25 Undergraduate  International Student On-Campus Housing Move-in;

  • 9am-1pm: On-campus housing move in and orientation check-in -  arrive at your residence hall
  • Shuttle buses from BWI Airport to MICA
  • Shuttle Buses to Target department store from MIA
  • MICA Insiders: International Student Experiences Panel 
  • Movie Night 

Wednesday, August 26: International Student Orientation

  • Welcome to MICA 
  • Transitioning to MICA 
  • The F-1 Visa: What you need to know 
  • Health and Wellness at MICA 
  • Campus Resource Fair 
  • English Language Assessment 
  • 5:00pm: Dinner 
  • 6:00pm: Orientation Group Welcome - in Founder's Green Tent
