Dingding Hu '13 is a Baltimore-based illustrator and designer, currently a candidate student of MFA Illustration Practice at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her work includes illustration, character design, hand lettering and photography. She’s now exploring the world of self-publishing and new media illustration. She believes, according to Milton Glaser, the purpose of art is to “delight and inform,” and she is always curious about the world of Surrealism and Absurdism. When she is not drawing, she enjoys cooking and eating. Her favorite animals are England short-haired cats and French bull dogs.
