Baltimore is one of the U.S.' largest cities for refugee re-settlement, representing an international span of countries ranging from Bhutan, South Asia to Republic of Congo, Africa. Global Perspectives, will present artwork and narratives of international ceramic artisans which reflect the countries in which the Baltimore refugees are from. The work will be exhibited at Baltimore Clayworks along with ceramic work from refugee teens. The student's work will be created through an interactive workshop with Baltimore City Community College's Refugee Youth Project. The mission of the exhibit Global Perspectives is to represent different cultures through the ceramic medium and bring awareness to Baltimore's refugee population.
