Ingrid Pimsner is a painter who works directly from life, creating intimate images of landscapes, still lives, and the figure. She began studying art at the Homewood Workshop at Johns Hopkins University, and continued her studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where she received her BA in Fine Arts and Political Science. At PENN, she was awarded a Kelly Foundation Scholarship for her art, allowing her to study at The International School of Painting, Drawing and Sculpture in Umbria, Italy. In 2012, Ingrid completed a Post Baccalaureate certificate in Fine Arts at the Maryland Institute College of Art, where she is currently pursuing an MA in Critical Studies.
