Asking where we came from is key to understanding who we are. Noted landscape painter Philip Koch casts a contemporary eye on images of mountains, forests and oceans. A former abstract color painter, Koch re-examines the 19th century tradition of romantic American landscape painting.

The exhibit runs Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm in CSM's Hungerford Gallery in La Plata, MD. There will be an Artist's Talk/Opening Reception Tuesday, Oct. 27 at noon.
