The Shedding Room

School 33 Art Center Exhibit On View through Dec. 29

Posted 12.14.12 by Kenneth Krafcheck

MFA in Community Arts (MFACA) student Tiffany Black '13 channels her frustrations and angst in a cathartic process of "letting go." The City Paper's Bret McCabe reviews this exciting exhibition in his article "Surface Tension." The exhibition will be on display through Saturday Dec. 29 at School 33 Art Center (1427 Light St.).

"The thrashing in my chest is what made me want to shed in the first place.  It
happens when I witness...injustice(s), ...when ugliness outweighs the beautiful
and when I realize more and more the very realness of humankind's submission
to cowardice, selfishness, and power lust." -Tiffany Black-
