Summer at the Decker Library brings a new set of Artist Books on display in the upper level cases, created by students in Laurie Snyder's class in Spring 2009. The pieces combine a plethora of materials and techniques, themes and imagery, in a wide range of formats that have the book form as a reference point.

On display in the lower level case are selections from the Library's collection of Black Sparrow Press titles. Most striking among these are two books by Charles Bukowski: Heat Wave, with original serigraphs by Kenneth Price, and There's No Business, illustrated by R. Crumb.
