This past week, the 5th MICA Sketchbook Annual was held in the Falvey Hall Foyer. This annual event, sponsored by both the Drawing and Painting Departments at MICA, celebrates sketchbooks & journals & idea books.

In a festive, celebratory and informative event, students are invited to exhibit their sketchbooks on tables specially brought in for the display. There is a guest speaker. After the event, a selection of student sketchbooks is exhibited in the Decker Library. The books are now on display in the upstairs case, and will remain until November 15, 2012.
