Station North Arts & Entertainment, Inc. continues a series of monthly events on Saturday, Oct. 10. The third “Second Saturday in Station North” will showcase the variety of entertainment venues and offerings in this thriving arts district. The series aims to heighten awareness, interaction and appreciation among Baltimore’s thriving art and music communities, and promote the district as a cultural destination.
A special aspect to October’s Second Saturday is a Collegetown-sponsored party at the Windup Space from 5-7 p.m. Bands from the University of Baltimore and Peabody will perform and the “Human Foosball” from the Artscape midway will be outside on North Avenue until 10 p.m. The Collegetown party will spill over into the rest of the Second Saturday events and activities, making it a fun-filled evening in Station North for everyone.
Nine venues – all within 2 blocks of Charles Street and North Avenue – will feature free events throughout the evening to encourage people to experience the diversity and creativity of the Station North Arts & Entertainment District. Events include art exhibitions and openings, theatrical performances, workshops, film screenings, live music performances and more.

Comprised of three neighborhoods – Greenmount West, Charles North, and part of Barclay – and located near the intersection of Charles Street and North Avenue just north of Amtrak’s Penn Station, the 100-acre district serves as a burgeoning cultural district in the heart of Baltimore.
