Noted painter Philip Koch's vividly colored contemporary landscapes are on display at the Clymer Museum of Art in Ellensburg, Wash., through March 27. Koch, a drawing and foundation department professor at MICA, lived in Ellensburg and taught at Central Washington University before coming to MICA.There will be a gala reception from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5 at the Clymer Museum to meet the artist. This stop in Washington is the only West Coast venue for the seven-museum national traveling exhibition. For information, call 509-962-6416.
