MICA students and community members demonstrate their talents in music, acting, comedy, poetry and dancing with monthly performances in BBOX.
The MICA community is full of talent and this monthly Open-Mic night, sponsored by the Student Activities Office and coordinated by student Kristi Stoyko, proves it. This Sunday evening favorite features the performing arts talent of the MICA student body as well as The Breakdancing Club, Micapella (A Capella MICA style), and MICA's own improv troupe. A diverse collection of performers each evening, expect to hear monologues, poetry and singing, and feast your eyes on some insanely funny stunts, dancing and improv. Always good for a laugh, or an accompaniment to ice cream from The Gateway Cafe.
All students are encouraged to participate and can sign up for their "15 minutes of fame" (we prefer 5-7 minutes) at each of the Residence Hall drop boxes.
