MICA is pleased to announce the establishment of the Baltimore Jewelry Center. The center, led by the same community of talented artists who created the MICA Jewelry Center in 1993, is an educational nonprofit building a vibrant creative community for the study and practice of metalworking for new and established artists. Courses will continue to be held at the center's Meadow Mill studio until it relocates to a new home in the Centre, the theater renovation project underway at 10 E. North Avenue in the Station North Arts and Entertainment District.
Founded by MICA Jewelry Center faculty, staff, and students, the Baltimore Jewelry Center carries on the tradition of excellence forged over the last twenty-one years. It offers the same quality programs-classes, certificate programs, bench rentals, workshops-and community building initiatives that has made it an epicenter for hundreds of art jewelers and metalsmiths.
To register for classes, or to sign up for the center's mailing list, go to www.BaltimoreJewelryCenter.org. The center can be reached at 410-235-5871.
