MICA Student Organization The Guild Presents HvZ MICA
Posted 02.03.10 by Megan Miller

From Wednesday, Feb 17-Monday, Feb. 22, MICA will be overrun with a campuswide game involving students, faculty & staff. It will essentially be a massive game of tag known as Humans vs. Zombies. In this game, the Humans must fight for their survival, warding off the waves of Zombies with socks and Nerf Blasters, and embarking on missions that result in strategic advantages. For distinguishing purposes, Humans will be wearing bright orange fabric around their arms, and the Zombies will be wearing them around their torsos. The Humans vs. Zombies game was created by our neighbors at Goucher, and is now played on more than 250 campuses worldwide on 4 continents, and we are happy to add MICA to that list.
Please note that the game is to take place outside of the classroom and academic offices, so if you have any disruption in your areas, please contact Student Activities immediately. We are hopeful that this will be a week of organized, moderated, childish chaos. So when you see a group of college kids (and most likely members of the staff and faculty) running around throwing socks at each-other, be not alarmed! It is merely a week of fun, play, and the Apocalypse.
Want to play? Our registration is still very open, and hopeful for more players. Please register for the game at mica.hvzsource.com by clicking on the red register link at the top of the page.
Thanks!
