Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and the Maryland Film Festival host the annual spring film series. Ranging from documentary to narrative, conventional to unorthodox, 12 films will be screened from February through April at 7:30 p.m. in Falvey Hall, Brown Center at 1301 Mount Royal Avenue. Many of the screenings are hosted by the director, who will discuss the specific issues involved in making that film. The screenings are free to the Friends of the Festival, and MICA students, faculty, and staff with proper ID-free tickets available the day of the screening while supplies last. For all other film-goers, tickets are available for $10 per film and $25 for the series pass. Tickets are available from www.mdfilmfest.org and at the door.
