In the MICA Archives, we are fortunate to have documents of past graduating classes in varied formats.

Selections of all these are now on display in the museum case on the lower level of the Library.

Then -- as now -- students felt tired, ran late for class, talked a lot (or not), made phone calls, and were appreciated by their classmates for artistic achievement, friendship, and personality quirks.

Come by and see how graduation time at MICA was commemorated in the 1880s, 1890s, 1900s, 1920s, 1940s, and 1960s.
