Be Counted in Baltimore!

undefined

All MICA students should complete the Census in Baltimore, and here are some reasons why!  Baltimore was last on the list of cities to be effectively counted 10 years ago, so don't let that happen again! Be Counted in Baltimore!

  1. Everyone must be counted, U.S. residents and international students, where they are living on April 1, 2010, and for all students that's here in Baltimore! Don't let your parents count you at home, be counted and make a difference here.
  2. The Federal Government allocates more that $400 billion to states and communities based on this data.
  3. Census data helps local authorities decide on where to build schools, roads, hospitals and more.
  4. Businesses use census data to locate supermarkets, housing and other facilities.
  5. It's 10 questions and takes under 10 minutes to complete.
  6. The census was mailed to every household, so complete yours today.  OR if you don't have yours yet, come to Meyerhoff House and fill one out on Thursday, March 25.  April 1 is Census Day!
