Pippin Barr
Pippin Barr, Ph.D., is a video game maker and critic. He teaches experimental game design in the Center for Computer Games Research at the IT University of Copenhagen. His games address everything from airplane safety instructions to contemporary performance art. Barr also writes a regular blog on games and game design criticism, and his recent book, How to Play a Video Game, introduces the uninitiated and culturally curious to the world of video games. Barr holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand.
