Caribbean Paradise
1818 N. Charles St.
Anniversary: 13th (lace)
Nancy O'D. Wilson is a Baltimore native who works in painting and sculpture. Using lace inherited from her grandmother as the backbone of her medium, Wilson explores feminine gender issues within a formal framework, fusing disparate materials into an unexpected yet cohesive whole. By incorporating her own dresses and her grandmother's lace into her work, she feels a connection to the past.
