Chris Manzione '07

Invited was organized by MICA's M.F.A. in Curatorial Practice and will feature site-specific artworks by local and international artists in 10 Station North businesses, as well as a celebratory-themed gallery show in MICA's newly renovated Studio Center Sheila & Richard Riggs and Leidy Galleries.

Chris Manzione works in the digital realm, creating artwork that can only be seen virtually. He utilizes developments in Global Positioning System technology and media to create three-dimensional virtual sculptures, which his audience can interact with through smartphone technology. Manizone has an M.F.A. in Visual Arts from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, a post-baccalaureate degree from MICA and a B.F.A. in studio arts from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
