Evyn Fong ‘14 and Kurina ‘15 - Let Go

Fighting our own insecurities is often the biggest battle we face, both as people and as artists. It holds us back, beats us down and stops us from reaching our full potential. Let Go urges the viewer to follow both of us along on our path to releasing the insecurities we carry that stop us from reaching our full potential. It is important that we go beyond high-class fashion in order to get the idea of "insecurities across. Many of our garments interact with the body to change the model's gait, posture, or silhouette. With these changes, the emotion of the pieces will easily translate. Some of the garments have multiple parts, showing the layers of a person you must understand before their self -consciousness becomes visible.
