Enjoy live music and free give aways! Check out Sound Garden's website for more details - http://www.cdjoint.com/.</p> <h3>24-hour Comicon</h3> <p><b>April 17th at 11am-April 18th at 11am<br />Meyerhoff Private Dining Room</b><br />For 24 hours students will be working on a single project of their choosing. Food and drink will be provided. Prizes will be distributed at the end. Sponsored by the Sequential Arts Club! </p> <p><br /></p> <h2>Sunday, April 18</h2> <h3>Picnic at Fort McHenry (& lunch at Attman's Deli)</h3> <p><b>11 am - 3 pm (approximately)<br />Sign up in front of Student Activities<br />Pick up outside Meyerhoff</b><br />Ah, do you smell that breeze? It's almost finals, but that doesn't mean there's no time for a little relaxation! Join Student Activities on a picnic trip to Fort McHenry this Sunday, April 18th at 11 am and take a breather from your workload. We will first head over to Attman's Deli, voted "Baltimore Best" by Baltimore Magazine and grab some food to munch on at the park. Feel free to bring your own goody bag of fruit, chips, drinks etc. we will then drive over to Ft. McHenry where you can enjoy your lunch, perhaps a game of Frisbee, go for a walk, tour the historic fort ($7), or just relax in the sun. Doesn't that just sound charming? Ft. McHenry truly puts the charm in Charm City. <br />*the trip is free, but bring money if you want to purchase lunch or a ticket to tour the Fort.</p> <h3>Showcase</h3> <p><b>7pm-10pm</b><br /><b>BBOX, Gateway</b><br />Join us in the BBOX for the last Coffeehouse of the Spring '10 semester, SHOWCASE X!</p> <p>This special event will be hosted by MICA's favorite poet personality, Donatello X. The night will also be one hour longer to add room for extra performances from acts in and out of MICA. Admittance will be free as usual but as always is first-come, first-serve so save the date! Support the Students for a Sustainable Campus with their photo petition for a more sustainable campus. Look out for a larger than life Captain Planet to come your way!</p> <h3>CAPfest Workshop</h3> <p><b> 11am-2pm<br />The Meyerhoff Lounge</b><br />School-wide Workshop to build puppets and costumes for the Caribbean Carnival Parade!</p> <h3>Bollywood Movie Night</h3> <p><b>8 pm to 11:45 pm<br />The Meyerhoff Lounge</b><br />A night of Bollywood magic! We will be showing a fun Bollywood film with plenty of singing, dancing and flashy costumes. Come unwind and enjoy a movie and free Indian snacks with your friends!</p> <p><br /></p> <h2>Saturday, April 24</h2> <h3>The Great Baltimore Road Rally Treasure Hunt!</h3> <p><b>1 pm - 6 pm <br />Sign up in the Student Activities Office </b><br />What do you get when you mix art students, a treasure hunt, and the eccentricity of charm city? MICA's very first Baltimore Road Rally! Don't know what a Road Rally is? Think of it as the love-child of treasure and scavenger hunts, with a little charm city twist.<br />Join us on Saturday April 24th, 2010 at 1 pm for the adventure of a lifetime. Compete with fellow students for $30 gift certificates! Learn about all Baltimore has to offer. Spend the afternoon venturing from fun stores, to gallery spaces, to historical monuments, and even delicious restaurants. Run from location to location as each new clue brings your closer to the grand prize.  Find out just what puts the "Charm" in Charm City.<br />What do you need to know?<br />•	The Great Baltimore Road Rally Treasure Hunt will last as long as it needs to for it to yield a winner, but is not expected to take more than 4 hours.<br />•	There is room for 5 teams, each with no more than 4 participants.<br />•	Teams must be made up of at least 2 people.<br />•	Each participant in the winning team will receive a $30 gift certificate of their choice to one of the following locations: Double Dutch Boutique, Soups On, Sound Garden, or Atomic Pop.<br />•	To sign up your team head over to either the Student Activities Office<br />•	All teams will be given packets of information about Baltimore.<br />So grab your walking shoes and get that sense of adventure ready...ITS ROAD RALLY TIME!</p> <h3>NYC Bus Trip (The FINAL trip of the semester!)</h3> <p><b>8 am - 11 pm<br />Bus departs from the Main Building at 8 am</b><br />Tickets can be purchased for $30 from the MICA College Store, and are available 10 business days prior to each trip. Tickets are non-refundable. There is a 2 ticket purchase limit per person. The bus drops MICA community members off at the Whitney Museum of American Art around noon. Check in starts at 6:45 p.m., with the bus departing promptly at 7 p.m. from Soho on the corner of Houston and Broadway. THE BUS WILL NOT WAIT FOR LATE PASSENGERS.</p> <h3>Haiti Benefit Yard Sale/Bake Sale</h3> <p><b>10am- 5 pm <br />Cohen Plaza</b><br />Come join us Saturday, April 24th from 10am-5pm for food, music and a yard sale! ALL PROCEEDS go to the World Relief Organization to help the Haiti earthquake victims.<br />Sponsored by the Koinonia Christian Fellowship</p> <h3>MILF Springtime Comedy Show</h3> <p><b>8pm-10pm<br />Meyerhoff Lounge</b><br />Laugh your finals away with MILF! There will be jokes! And food! And jokes!</p> <br /> <h3>Drag Ball: Superheroes vs. Supervillains!</h3> <p><b>8:30pm-12am<br />BBOX, Gateway</b><br />Come have a FABULOUS time at this year's Drag Ball! Entrance fee is $1 drag, $3 drab; all proceeds go towards FASQA's (Faculty and Staff Queer Alliance) LGBT scholarship for MICA students. There will be food, dancing, and prizes!
