Aikido Club

Aikido Club focuses on teaching self-defense, providing physical fitness, developing focus, and mind-body awareness. In doing so, participants will improve self-esteem and confidence, while improving one awareness of their surroundings.

Belly Dancing Club

The Bellydance Club is great for people who want to feel stronger, healthier, sexier and more comfortable in their bodies. Join us to learn the art of Bellydance movement and explore the culture of its origins!

Hip Hop Club

This club is for students of all experience levels that want to learn hip hop. Students will be taught choreography and learn a different dance each week. Hip Hop Club will also focus on some of the basic aspects of hip hop such as gliding and waving.

Karate Club

The karate club provides a way to practice martial arts in order to learn self-defense and discipline. This club is open to anyone interested in learning a martial art or self-defense.

Kubb Club

Kubb Club promotes teambuilding while learning and playing the Swedish lawnsport game of Kubb. If you like lawn games such as bocce ball and croquet, you are guaranteed to love the Kubb!

MICA Athletics

MICA Athletics is focused on connecting the MICA community while encouraging movement and activity. Physical activity and competition is a vital part of everyday life and this club brings that to campus in a relaxed yard game style atmosphere.

MICA Bike Share

Support cycling as a sustainable form of transportation and as a good source of exercise. MICA Bike Share manages distribution of and makes bicycles available to all full-time undergraduate and graduate students to check out from the MICA Fitness Center for 48 hours free of charge.

MICA Indoor Soccer League

The Leftovers and Sporkz are MICA's two indoor soccer teams. They compete in a Baltimore city league each semester, and tryouts are held every year to fill vacancies on the two teams. The teams play approximately once every week, and they practice regularly.

MICA Outdoors Club

Want a little more than concrete and city streets? MICA Outdoors Club is here to give you the chance to get out of the city and onto some trails! MICA Outdoors Club hosts some favorite events, such as hikes, an annual camping trip, s'mores night, and rock-climbing. Level of experience does not matter; we want people who are interested in the great outdoors!

MICA Ultimate

MICA Ultimate meets up once each week to throw and play Ultimate Frisbee. Our aim is to socialize while getting exercise. Everyone is welcome, regardless your skill level!

MICA Volleyball Club

This is a way for people who are interested in the sport to get together and play on a regular basis. People who are willing to learn from others with more experience are also welcome.

Supafresh Breakdance Crew

Get up offa that thang, play that funky music and rock steady! Supafresh Crew meets in the MICA Fitness Center to share, practice and explore new breakdance moves!
