We offer a variety of health care services centered on you.
Walk-ins vs. Appointments
Not sure if you should make an appointment or come see us during walk in hours? Don't worry, we have answers!
Students may, if referred by their physician, have allergy injections by appointment if appropriate serum and instructions are provided.
We are pleased to assist students under the care of a home medical provider with medication management while attending school.
Cost of Visit
There is no charge for standard health visits for full-time enrolled students; however, there are fees for lab work, immunizations, and procedures.
Students in need of emergency care should dial 911 for assistance.
If a student has an urgent medical need, he or she may call the student health center at 410-225-4118 for directions on how to reach the on-call medical provider.
Referral and Specialty Care
Clinicians will refer students to medical specialists and imaging centers whenever necessary.
STD Testing Package
We offer a $50 STD screening package to students who desire testing without paying through their insurance carrier.
The majority of prescriptions given at the MICA student health center can be electronically sent to a local pharmacy at the request of the student.
