For three days, Chrissie Schoenhard '14 (painting) sat beneath an apricot tree and painted a colorful streetscape she found in Sant'Agnello, Italy, a village close to where she was studying in Sorrento. Italian rap music from a teenager's room above filled her ears, while kind locals offered her iced tea and water. For her, this painting isn't about the process or the final product, but the entire experience of getting to know a place.
