About this Gallery
Kerr Houston has taught as a Professor of Art History at the Maryland Institute College of Art since 2002. He received a B.A. in Art History from Williams College in 1988, and a Ph.D. from Yale University in 2001. His primary area of interest involves Italian medieval and Renaissance painting, but he has also written on film, in journals such as Camera Obscura and African-American Review, and on contemporary language usage, for the online journal Vocabula.
