Clifton Park Works: Cultivating Connections in Art & History

Artist: Emily Clemens
Year: 2013

The Exhibition, Clifton Park Works, is a site-specific exploration of the history of Clifton Park that will connect and inform the existing audiences to one another, to contemporary art, and to the history of the site. Regional and international artists will make temporary, new work for a 5 week long public exhibition in the park. In addition to three artists installations in Clifton Park, an indoor exhibition will be hung at the Hilltop House (where Civic Works will move during Clifton Mansion rennovations) of drawings from Civic Works collection. The installation at Hilltop House will mostly feature drawings that further investigate the connection between Civic Works, Clifton Park and urban gardens.
