The Atlanta National Portfolio Day is an opportunity to meet representatives from institutions offering professional programs accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). On Saturday, November 8, 2014, many of the nation's leading colleges and universities will travel to the Cobb Galleria Centre, Exhibit Hall C in Northwest Atlanta (at I-75 and I-285) to review student artwork, discuss educational and professional goals, and share information on art programs, careers, admissions and financial aid.
All Portfolio Day events are free, open to the public and do not require pre-registration. For more information about how to attend a National Portfolio Day, please refer to the National Portfolio Day Association's FAQ page
For more information about the Atlanta National Portfolio Day, contact MICA Undergraduate Admission by phone 410/225-2222, toll free at 877/648-6422 or by email at email@example.com.
On the day of the event, Saturday, November 09, 2013, Student Registration will be open from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
As they register, students will be given a number to hold their place in line. Students will wait in line outside Exhibit Hall C in numerical order to ensure an orderly entrance into the Exhibit Hall at 11:00 a.m. Note: this number is only to hold a place in the line to ENTER the Hall. This allows the student and family to get breakfast and return to the line no later than 10:30 a.m., just before the doors are opened for reviews. The number does not guarantee a place in the line of a specific college or university, since Portfolio Reviews are provided on a first-come, first serve basis, and will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. and end promptly at 3:00 p.m.
Students should start the event by getting in the line of the school they are most interested in, first. They can attempt as many portfolio reviews as possible within the 4 hour event period. Please note that all reviews (even those in-process) will end at 3:00 pm, sharp.
Please check back in early August for a listing of attending colleges and universities.
We look forward to seeing you in Atlanta!
