Network

The school's primary access to the Internet is through its main ISP, Cogent Communications.  This connection provides 400 MBPS of dedicated internet service to the campus. The backup Internet Service Provider for the school is Airband Communication. The connections type is diversified for redundancy - the Airband connection is a Point-to-Point microwave connection and the Cogent is a point-to-point fiber optics connection. The Internet Services are configured to provide up to 300 MBPS speed to all of our student residencies. The distribution is flexible so more bandwidth is available for the administrative part of the network during the day or when students are not on campus.  In addition, a campus-wide secure wireless network provides Internet and email access to students, faculty, and staff whether they are on campus or working/living in remote campus buildings. The remote locations are connected to the main campus by site-to-site VPN connections over Comcast High Speed Cable Internet connections.
