Overview

Every student at MICA is provided with webspace for personal use. This webspace is available on our student.mica.edu server and can be activated by contacting the technology help desk. Any content that you have published to this server may be viewed at http://student.mica.edu/username (your root folder). Your root folder should contain a file named 'index.htm' or 'index.html'. This is the file that will display when the URL for your root folder is resolved by a browser.

To access your personal webspace via FTP to transfer files, please use the following information:

• Host (Server Name): student.mica.edu
• User ID: your myMICA username
• Password: your myMICA passwrod
• Directory: /student/username
