Blackboard is available to use from anywhere in the world, provided you have an internet connection and a web browser. MICA encourages the use of the following browsers to access Blackboard: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari. Direct your browser to http://blackboard.mica.edu/ and log in using your portal username and password.
Students
Once you log in you will see any courses you are enrolled in that have opted to use Blackboard on the right hand side of the page. Simply click the name of the course to enter.
Faculty
Just like students, you will see any classes you are teaching that will be using Blackboard. Click the name of the course to enter the page. The key difference for you, however, is the Control Panel. Please click the Tutorials link to the left to learn how to make use of the many features available in the Control Panel.
