We first implemented PeopleSoft's human resource management system (HRMS) in 1999. Since then this system has served to perform all functions related to the administration of human resources, benefits, and payroll at MICA. This system provides end to end personnel and payroll functionality for all student, faculty, and staff employees. In October 2007, MICA went live with Oracle PeopleSoft Human Capital Management 9.0 (in a shared database environment with Campus Solutions 9.0) becoming one of the first higher education institutions to run a successful payroll cycle in an upgraded 9.o environment.

This gave us an opportunity to demonstrate our leadership in the application of administrative systems in higher education and (more importantly) to tell the remarkable story of how MICA's HR and Payroll staff manage to do so much with so few.
We run Oracle PeopleSoft Human Capital Management 9.0 on PeopleTools 8.49 over MS SQL Server 2005. We use the following HCM 9.0 modules:
