Collaborative Systems

At MICA -- as at any higher education institution -- we support a number of collaborative environments to support various tasks: wikis and blogs, shared web spaces, list servs, and the like. There is a need, however, to maintain a core stack of collaborative systems to meet the administrative collaboration needs of the MICA community.

Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal 9.0

We use the enterprise portal to provide secure, web-based, integrated access to core administrative services such as student account billing and payment, course registration and grading, and personal information maintenance.

Microsoft Exchange 2003

Exchange 2003 provides students, faculty, and staff with email and calendar sharing capabilities.

Microsoft Sharepoint 2007

Sharepoint provides a customizable and secure workplace to manage projects, share files, and manage research.
