The links below work from computers on-campus. To access databases from off-campus, go to the Remote Access page. From that page, click on any database link, then enter your MICA user name and password (same as My MICA Portal log-in). The log-in will take you directly to the selected database for searching.

    Indexes art journal literature from 1929-1984
  • Business Source Premier
    Full text for more than 2,300 journals in all disciplines of business, including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance and economics.
  • Design and Applied Arts Index
    Indexes and abstracts 500+ design and craft journals published 1973-present, plus data on over 50,000 designers, craftspeople, studios, workshops, firms etc.
  • Education Journals
    Full-text for 400 education journals, indexing/abstracting for more than 600.
  • ERIC
    The Educational Resource Information Center (ERIC) contains more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information, plus citations and abstracts from 980+ educational and education-related journals
  • JSTOR
    Full-text for 300+ scholarly journals. Arts and Sciences III Collection: History of art and architecture, religion, language and literature, music, film studies, folklore, and performing arts. Arts and Sciences IV Collection: Education, psychology, business, law, and public policy and administration.
  • Readers' Guide to Periodical Literature

    Digital images of 90,000+ artworks from European, American, and Canadian museums. Artwork includes contemporary, Native American and Inuit, ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian, and Japanese and Chinese works.
  • ARTstor
    Digital images of nearly 1 million artworks from many time periods and cultures, with architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, decorative arts, and design. To access from off-campus, visit the ARTstor website and register as a user while on-campus. This allows off-campus access with your user id and password as long as you log-in on-campus every 120 days.
  • Cinema Image Gallery
    Over 150,000 still images from movies, television and the entertainment industry, plus over 4,000 posters and other promotional images.
