The links below work from computers on-campus. To access databases from off-campus, use the Off-Campus links on the Research Databases page, and click on any database link, then enter your MICA user name and password (same as My MICA Portal log-in). The log-in will take you directly to the selected database for searching.

    Primary source images and media for research, available to download for use in design projects. Provides over 4.6 million photographs from 1826 to current; tens of thousands of graphics; more than 4,500 hours of audio files dating from the 1920’s; news stories and headlines dating from 1997. Content is provided by The Associated Press.
  • Art Museum Image Gallery
    Digital images of 90,000+ artworks from European, American, and Canadian museums. Artwork includes contemporary, Native American and Inuit, ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian, and Japanese and Chinese works.
  • ARTstor
    Digital images of nearly 1 million artworks from many time periods and cultures, with architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, decorative arts, and design. To access from off-campus, visit the ARTstor website and register as a user while on-campus. This allows off-campus access with your user id and password as long as you log-in on-campus every 120 days.
  • Cinema Image Gallery
    Over 150,000 still images from movies, television and the entertainment industry, plus over 4,000 posters and other promotional images.
