Round 2: The Spring 2009 Convening

The Project Convening will be held April 19, 20, & 21, 2009, at California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB).

The convening is designed as a series of working sessions that as a whole lead to

  1. The publication of exemplary texts illuminating the nature and import of the field and
  2. A consensus driven agenda supporting an authentic “action plan” for building the field during the following year.

Convening attendees sign-up for one of the theme-based workgroups and 1) actively participate in convening discussions and 2) help craft an agenda and working plan for the year.

Attendees are expected to read and review revised texts for at least one theme-defined work group prior to the convening and be prepared to actively engage in convening discussions.
