Virigina Anderson

Virginia Anderson

Virginia Anderson has an undergraduate degree in Government from Harvard University, and she received her Ph.D. in Art History from Boston University in 2011. Her dissertation was titled, "The Critic Sees: Productive Uncertainty in the Critical Reception of Jasper Johns." From 2005 to 2010, she was the assistant curator of American art at the Harvard Art Museums, and she has been a lecturer at MICA since January 2012. Her research interests include issues of materiality and perception, as well as collecting and exhibition practices in modern and contemporary art.
