Olivia Robinson

undefinedOlivia Robinson '98 (fiber) is a multimedia fiber artist with a diverse body of work that ranges in scale from hand-built textile circuits to architectural-scale inflatable structures while she investigates issues of justice, identity, community and transformation. Robinson holds an MFA in Electronic Art from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she studied under legendary composer/performer Pauline Oliveros. She has lectured and led workshops at many top-ranked colleges, including Carnegie Melon University, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Savannah College of Art and Design, New York University and University of the Arts, Philadelphia. The innovative artworks resulting from her classes have been featured in museum exhibitions and acclaimed by the New York Times.
