Margaret Morrison, PhD

Margee Morrison is a scholar of Gender and Sexuality Theory, Queer Theory, and Gay and Lesbian Studies. She has a PhD in English and American Literature from George Washington University and held a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in rhetorical and critical studies at the University of Texas at Arlington from 1987 to 1990. She was the editor of LGSN, published triennially by Duke University Press from 1989 to 1999. Margee's many publications include "Laughter and Third Sophistic Rhetoric" (Journal of Advanced Composition, 2000), "Diseases of Women at Way-Too-Fast" (Feminism and Composition, MLA, 1998), and the introductory essay for a collection of essays on Queer Rhetoric she edited for a special edition of Pre/Text: A Journal of Rhetorical Theory.
