Adjunct Faculty – Illustration
Born in northern Pennsylvania, John Malloy began drawing cartoons and rock stars at age 6. Years later, he earned a background in fine art with Michael Molnar, one of the world's most eminent trompe l'oeil painters, and has since been self-educated in painting, comics, illustration, and graphic design.
His illustrations and comics have been featured in magazines such as Dazed & Confused, BPM, Faesthetic, Slash, and Lemon.
His first graphic novel, "Amnesia" [2001 NBM Publishing] combined pen and ink, painting, and digital media. He is currently working on a variety of other comics projects.
