Jeremy Hoffman

Jeremy Hoffman received his BFA in graphic design from MICA. He began working for the international design consultancy, Pentagram, as an intern in 1998 while still in school. Upon graduating he was hired as a junior designer, was promoted to senior designer and was later named an associate at the firm. At Pentagram he worked on an array of publication, identity, exhibition, and signage projects. While there his largest project was the 40,000 sq. ft. permanent exhibition design for the Harley-Davidson Museum, which opened in July 2008 in Milwaukee, WI. He was the chief liaison with architects Allied Works on the signage for their expansion of the Seattle Art Museum, and he oversaw the development and fabrication of several other institutional signage programs. He left Pentagram in 2010 and is now an independent design consultant in Baltimore where he continues to work on environmental and print projects. He is an adjunct faculty member at MICA, teaching environmental graphic design.
