Adjunct Faculty – Foundation; Asian Student Advisor
Jarrett Min Davis is a painter and educator who works in the United States. Currently an adjunct professor at the Maryland Institute College of Art, teaching in the Foundations department and an adjunct faculty member at Anne Arundel Community College in the art department. He is also the Asian Student Advisor at MICA. Davis has a BFA from the University of Dayton and an MFA from the Hoffberger program, directed by Grace Hartigan at the Maryland Institute.
He has exhibited his work nationally and internationally with exhibitions at Icebox: Crane Building in Philadelphia, Creative Alliance in Baltimore and Samzie Alternative Art Space in Seoul, South Korea. He is a fellow in the Center for Emerging Visual Art Career Development Program in Philadelphia. He also contributes art criticism to Bmore Art, an art blog with focus on art in Baltimore.
