Ismael Carillo worked as an illustrator in Barcelona for well over two decades. His illustrations appear in publications worlwide. His work has been published by, among others, Playboy Magazine (Spain), Courrier International, Le Monde (France), El Periódico de Catalunya, El Jueves Magazine, RACC Magazine, EATN Magazine (Germany), EATN Magazine (UK), EATN Magazine (France), Woman magazine, Mujer 21(Spain), anc Washington Times(U.S.A). As a concept artist and set designer, he worked for clients like the XV Summer Olympic Games of Barcelona, The Washington GALA Theater, and the Barcelona Fashion Week. He is an Excellence Award winner in Art and Illustration given by The Society Of Newspaper Design, an Excellence Award winner in Art and Illustration given by The Illustrator Club of Washington DC., Maryland, and Virginia.
